On the road now. We left around 5. A truck with a ladder in the back drove past us, and his ladder came out the back of his truck and flew out in front of our car. We are lucky we didn't hit it. It was one of those big, industrial ladders.

Yikes!! Is that even legal to drive with unsecured equipment in the back of the truck?? Glad you are safe!!

Nope, it's against the law. Anything that flies off someone's truck or car and hits driver/vehicle on the road -- very dangerous.

There were a few incidents like that recently up in MA -- cops issued a warrant for arrest in one of them. The other one, the guy got away before they could track him down.

Tomorrow, this beautiful lady will be my sister in law.












And for those of you concerned about my pink complexion, I cooled right down after a quick dip in the pool.
