Thank you to everyone for following along on my "trip report"! I'm happy I could share my experience with you all. I'm done posting about what I'm doing each day, but I will probably make a couple more posts about attraction counts, and my overall thoughts on the state of Disney World and just general comments/concerns/thoughts. Not sure if I'll do that tomorrow on the car ride home or wait until the weekend when I get home. But I'd hold onto the edge of your seats either way.

Tonight at Epcot we did the WS since we had only done GFT and FEA to that point. We walked in each country and looked around their museums, shops, etc. We skipped the Chinese film, but did France and Canada. We typically do France; I love the music in that one. We hadn't done Canada in years. Probably since I was in middle school would be my guess. Along the way I got my third and final Micley premium bar of the trip... and I have a confession... I had never had one of them before this trip. But I fell in love this trip. When I was younger I wasn't a huge sweets or chocolate fan, but I'm getting into those bad habits now.

On the way our of Epcot we stopped at the Port of Entry shop, and I bought my last souvenir of the trip: a stainless steel Epcot WS tumbler thing. I eyed it the other day, but didn't get it because it wasn't that big. I said screw it and got it tonight.

Oh, and before WS we stopped at Club Cool to get some South African Bibo. That's really the only one I like from that place, and I would drink it in glass fulls.

The drawbridge was up in our walk. The last time we got stopped for this was when I was in elementary school.

We discovered a small area in the back left corner of Italy tonight. I don't know exactly what it was used for, but I made an inference and wonder if at one point you could order take out from Via Napoli?? I thought this was a cool space to get away from the crowds if needed.

This one almost fell right off the stick after my first bite.

I feel like I must lean to the left a bit, because none of my pictures I try to set up are actually straight. But the one below is still nice.

There was takeout by the slice I believe at one point after it opened.

ETA - yup:

I sent you an email, did you get it?

I saw that, then this, this morning. It’s impressive planning!!!

On the road now. We left around 5. A truck with a ladder in the back drove past us, and his ladder came out the back of his truck and flew out in front of our car. We are lucky we didn't hit it. It was one of those big, industrial ladders.

I know someone who got hit by an unsecured ladder. Hit the hood of the car just missing the windshield. Scary stuff. Glad you are ok.

Awful Awfuls were specifically from Newport Creamery (a local ice cream/burger joint), and were named that because they were "awful awful good". If you could drink 3 full ones they would give you a 4th one free. When I was in college, a guy I knew went to Friendly's (Newport creamery's competitor) and drank 3 of their shakes, thinking he would get a free 4th one. It was only after he downed the third one that he realized he was in the wrong place. :hilarious:
