Woo hoo! The sun finally came out!
The sun is shining now and was most of the day yesterday. However, I had to go to the store and as I was pulling into the parking lot the water came down like it was being poured from a bucket. Fortunately, I hadn't gotten out of the car yet, but, many did. It lasted about 5 minutes and stopped I went into the store and by the time I went back out, the sky was blue and the sun was shining once again. It did bring with it a truckload of humidity though and a small Tornado was reported (no damage). It's raining (of course) here this morning.
I thought I heard that Myth Busters had blown that out of the water. I know as a CDL driver we used to worry about that poppy seed bagel problem all the time, but, I know of no one that ever was punished for having a bagel. Must be the Police force was having a quiet day. I was stationed in the Tonawanda area back in the late 60' and believe me they had a lot more then that to worry about around there.Tim Horton’s ... figures.
Since it's the day before all the fun begins, I figured a pre-report was in order.
A preview of shenanigans to come!

Part I:
While @Nemo14 and her husband may still be a day away... that doesn't mean they don't already have a crowd gathered in the lobby, anxiously awaiting their arrival on Wednesday.

To be continued...
It's really gotten crazy around here in the past couple hours.Oh, I can't wait to hear all the deets of this beary cheery meet up!!
Hey, you need a plant killed, I'm your girl. My husband has banned me from having houseplants after I killed one I got from one of my students when I was teaching. Last day of school, one of my first graders brought me a beautiful plant, and I named her Cleo. Apparently I over-watered her and I was so sad when she died, so husband said no more!!!I wouldn't mind, but I do have a tendency to kill plants! (NO green thumb here!)
No such thing. I killed a cactus AND one of those moist air plants that you don't have to water or anything. I'm that good at killing plants. You don't even want to see my yard.My plants are foolproof.

My kids tease me that I could even manage to kill a fake plant.I killed a cactus. It's still in its pot with the other plants but that thing is clearly petrified.
Don't feel bad, since my divorce 19 years ago, I have only had two plants that thrived, the rest died. They were a couple of African Violets and the other was what I believe was called an Ivy Plant. That grew to around 50 feet long, wrapping around my kitchen a couple of times. Both required very little water which was a good thing because instead of my over watering, I habitually forgot to water either of them until it seemed like it was too late. But, they continued to survive in spite of me. When I moved here I gave them to my sister (current status unknown). When I got here I bought two new African Violets, but, they did not come from the same sturdy stock that my originals did.Hey, you need a plant killed, I'm your girl. The series finale is tomorrow night. The Big Bang Theory's Series Finale accomplished something in my town.
That being...
We had a Brand New and highly anticipated opening of White Castle in our town on Monday.
The line of cars have continually wrapped around the building and the line for getting food from the counter has also been impressively long.
Yet when I went by at 9:15pm tonight, the crowd was gone and there were just a few customers.
That's the power of a hyped television event!
