I should take out stock in a hairspray company. My hair frizzes when it's either rainy or humid. We've had so much rain in the past month that my hair is out of control--tons of hairspray to tame it down.

We're leaving tomorrow for some working/playing adventures with the grandkids and their parents, so I was out and about this morning taking care of a few last minute errands. On my way home, about a minute and a half from home, I spotted a nest on one of the cell phone towers. I didn't have my camera with me, so I finished the drive home, ran in and got my camera and went back to check it out. As I had suspected it was yet another osprey nest! It's maybe a 5 minute walk east from here, and the one I found last year is 5 minutes west. (Five minutes north is the airport runway, where there are much bigger birds.)

We finally went bowling as promised. DS has been begging to go bowling for ages. And then we went to dinner to mark the end of their school vacation. DS had 2 weeks, DD only had one....she was not thrilled. But, that's the last vacation before Summer, so the next vacation means DISNEY! Only a few months now!

Ahhh - the Cross Bronx Expressway. An hour isn't bad! When my daughter was 2 we were coming home from NJ and she woke up on the Cross Bronx. It was raining. We were going about 8 miles an hour. There were potholes. And she started wailing, "this is a cold and nasty road and I just want to go home!!!!" All I could do was laugh. And agree. To this day we just call it the cold and nasty road.
