Nearest Sonic to me is 24 miles.
The nearest one to me is a little over 2 miles, however, I have only been there once in 8 years. It's not on any of my regular paths and I also hate those stupid commercials with those two "very strange" guys that seem to spend their entire life there. I don't find them funny or all that informative and I am boycotting them until they stop them. One big problem with my plan is that until this very moment I have never actually told anyone of my discontent. I'm sure if they knew they would call a halt to them immediately.

This is a seasonal store - ice cream and drinks only. The year round stores are Grill & Chills, Hot Eats/Cold Treats, or Brazier.

I always get the chicken sandwich. Slurp.
this is one of the DQ's I am between its open all year round and they are looking for help if you want a job @JenniferS

Went to see the hip replacement surgeon today.
One look at my x-rays and MRI, and THR was a done deal. Hopefully by the end of the year, give or take a month or two.

As I told @NYwdwfan , I was the youngest person in the waiting room, and the only one without a cane or walker.

What is more problematic right now is my knee. It is now considered fully locked. I am being yanked from Brantford’s care and transferred to London on an “urgent” basis. It will be interesting to see what they consider an “urgent” timeframe.

On the plus side, no Dynasplint! Yay!

Why so long?

Knee probably just needs arthroscopic debridement. Something is mechanically caught, and getting worse.

Very little arthritis right now, but December’s “fall down/go boom” has pretty much guaranteed that I’ll need a knee replacement within 5-10 years.

First things first - unlock it so I can walk upright again. Should be fine for our September WDW trip. 👍👍

London has among the longest waits for joint replacements in the province. I’m sure I could get it done a few months faster in Brantford, but we can see how well they handled my knee. 🙄

Surgeon in London is not impressed that the Brantford surgeon was content to go the Dynasplint route. Apparently they are totally hit and miss in terms of success rates.
