One last update before I go to bed.

Temp: -17
Feels like: -44

Our local weather station started doing an impact scale a couple years ago, ranking 1-4. They've never had a level 4 "extreme" treat since then, but tomorrow is the first one.

One the plus side, we are only supposed to have a chance of wintry mix for 4 straight days after this.

This winter isn't fun.

OK, I have to admit that I had a massive brain fart on that one. For some reason I was thinking of the of the junior rate that once existed for the age 12 to 17. I apologize to anyone I mislead with my complete mental meltdown. I don't know why I thought that way, but, I did succumb to a major bought of Old-timers Disease.

That said I still have a problem with random park ticket sales in stores when they don't even sell tickets in Disney Stores. (unless they do for this promotion, I haven't been in the store for a bit of time.) But, the ones that were shown in the picture the top left was a 3 day park ticket as was the one on the top right. (child and adult) The two under were gift cards. The following is the one what I was thinking about.

So many Mea Culpas and confession of being slightly embarrassed by this mistake. Seriously, I am starting to worry about myself. Fortunately, I'm over it now.
Oh, it would be so nice if they still offered a junior ticket!!
I noticed on the picture of the cards in the sale that they don't appear to offer a park hopper ticket....unless those were maybe on the other side of the display. I wonder if they would let you upgrade.

If these are really legit, or as @Nemo14 said it is just a gift card with false identity. The price really is over $110.00 per day, hardly a wild bargain. I will bet that you can buy them now but they will not work at the gate. It is possible that they are just intentionally mislabeled as 3 day park tickets that have to be verified at the ticket sales booth and/or they will not be eligible for any upgrades (single park only) or add on days. Very interesting at any rate. Just my opinion since I have no first or second or any hand experience with them. Maybe someone with inside connections can explain it.

Well, this is a display at a grocery store, though right? Where did they get the tickets to sell? If they aren't legit, I would imagine they'd have to refund your money. I doubt a store would take a chance on buying tickets that may or not be valid...surely they would have verified before they put them on display?

It cracks me up how people react and over-react to the weather forecasts around here. Typically we hear what's going to happen in the city (Manhattan) and "North & West" of the city (basically the Hudson Valley region). North & West is usually the heaviest, then the city, then Long Island is kinda a mixed bag, depending on how far East you are and the path of the storm. They are predicting 1-3 for the city, more North & West and don't even mention Long Island in the forecast. Right now it's bright and sunny out, not a cloud in the sky. Ferris Bueller would be skipping school today. The weird old guy that comes in my office sometimes just asked me if I heard we're about to get hit with a massive white out snow squall. "About to get hit". Really? That's some freaky voo-doo magic that can spew snow from a cloudless blue sky.
