The Titanic Museum was awesome. Not what Mike was expecting. He thought there would be a handful of artifacts and that’s it. It is SO MUCH MORE! Absolutely the highlight of the trip.

I cried. You know I did.
No photos were allowed within the exhibits until the last room. No pics of the grand staircase, so I happily bought the package.

These lovely photos were almost a throwback in time for me. Reminds me of the way many places used to decorate. They certainly have some welcome holiday spirit down there, and so happy you're there to enjoy it all.

That was how we felt too when we were there - just reminded me of places from my childhood.

Did we get up? Yes. Yes, we did.

A free pancake breakfast with coffee is included with our hotel stay. You can upgrade to the full breakfast buffet for $5/person. One of us upgraded. One of us did not.

The one who did not, could only eat two pancakes as it was.


The one who did, has been up to the buffet twice ... so far.

The bus driver this morning waited until I sat down before pulling away from the stop. Usually they only do that for old people.

Got back from our Vegas/Death Valley/Grand Canyon about a week ago. Still debating about posting pics vs. a TR in the chit chat. I am sad to say, there were no eagles on this trip @Nemo14 .

DH is out at his sister's today, so it gave me the luxury of uninterrupted time to organize and pack. We stored some of our warm weather clothes at my sister's when we there in December, so I thought this one would be easier, but it's really not. We'll be at DD's in MD for a few days, then DS' in VA for a couple more, then on to GA, then eventually to my sister's. The weather can be so unpredictable at this time of year, so I still need a variety of clothes, so layers it is!!! I think I'm done now, but I very well might change my mind multiple multiple times in the next few days.
Tomorrow I'll sort through the rest of the stuff and pay bills.

Will do! Leaning towards a TR just so I don't gum up this thread...since I was my usual self and took way too many pictures.

I think I'm going to do a TR. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend a ton of time there. I shifted it to a day trip, so it was more of a taste. Still, it's better than nothing.

Hmmmm! Even though there is the possibility that the age factor played a part in it, when, I was a bus driver I never moved the bus until everyone was either seated or were anchored in some way to the straps or pole supports.
