Not during Food & Wine.But don’t you lose 10-20 pounds every time you go to Disney?

Dang I’m gonna miss that.Not during Food & Wine.![]()
Last year was the first time we really enjoyed it since 2009. We wisely avoided weekends, and evenings in general.Dang I’m gonna miss that.
You couldn't pay me enough to go to Disney in December of 2019. I'm betting it's going to be a madhouse with SWL just opening up. I know I read somewhere that it's slated to open in November, but I can't remember where that was. I was just really happy that we would be there before it opens.Last year was the first time we really enjoyed it since 2009. We wisely avoided weekends, and evenings in general.
Also, the booths were more spread out last year, spilling into Future World, making the WS promenade “feel” less crowded.
The bump up to two snacks per day per person also meant that I felt more inclined to be adventurous and spend credits just to try a few things.
Looking at 2019 Free Dining BounceBack dates, I’m wondering if we should stick with our usual Labour Day dates or give December a whirl. (Bricker has some interesting thoughts regarding these dates vis a vis SW:GE not being open.)
Also, maybe for giggles we downgrade back to POP for one year, and try out the gondolas. (Or not.)
Sorry....it is my FIL's birthday and we always go there to help serve the guests. My MIL is one of 9 children and my FIL one of 11. It's always very busy and if my in-laws have to serve, they wouldn't get to enjoy the party. I'm betting everyone just has somewhere else to be. When does your school start?It has been about 18 hours since the last post on this thread. Did all of the regulars agree to meet at a certain location? Are you enjoying yourselves at a private party?![]()

I ran the WDW in December idea past Mike.
He said no way does he want to give up September and do 11 days in December. He wanted to know if we can book two BounceBacks - 10 nights/11 days in early September and 4 nights/5 days in December. I think we can book two reservations - one in each name.
This isn’t really about SW:GE. It’s about doing Christmas in the World. Also staying at Pop for 4 nights and riding the gondolas of death might be fun.
This would supplant a NYC in December trip though; assuming that was becoming a thing.
I’ve seen Osborne twice, but early early in the season both times, so Christmas had not been fully rolled out resort wide yet.love Christmas in the world...only have done it once unfortunately...in early December.
We'll be at WL for 2 days in December this year. Probably not going into the parks though.
We'll check out the other hotel decorations, and maybe do a quick trip over to Sea World actually.
It's a freebie stay for us, courtesy of my sister's DVC points, and we have an AP for Sea World, so why not!Love it!(Note to self: Stay at WL on WDW property; go to Sea World . . .
)
