I love it! Wouldn't recommend it for a family of six, but for 1-2 people, I think it's the coolest thing! Everything you need to survive is on that thing!

I have been diligently watering these two potted “plants” on my back porch here, and then today’s little microburst roars through, and reveals that I needn’t have bothered.
Plastic. All of it - except the vertical “wood” branch. (That might be wood. Who knows? Up is down. Down is up.)
I feel like Elaine ... “Fake. Fake. Fake.”

Oh, sorry about the plants.
True confession: I've killed every plant I've ever had! Just don't have the "green thumb". I gave up a few years ago, and I have some nice (FAKE) plants in the livingroom, and you'd never know that they are not real!

Love the orchids - but love the MK plates more!!!Here’s what they look like now, but there will be more flowers opening up in the next week or so. This goes on for months, then the’ll rest for a couple of weeks.

Those orchids are very pretty. I also like the curtains; I have that exact style (but different patterns/colors) in my kitchen as well. I've always had this "thing" about a homey, country feel to a kitchen. (The rest of our rooms are decorated in a more contemporary style--some with drapes, and others with just miniblinds.)
Mary Blair's artwork is awesome! (My favorite has always been the gorgeous tile at the Contemporary concourse.)

Sitting at the desk here with the computer and a cup of coffee. I finished said cup of coffee about 20 minutes ago. So why do I continue to lift the empty cup to my lips, when there is no coffee in it?! (I've done this about 3 times in the past 15 minutes . . . )
