We're all in the same boat, except that ours is a canoe, while others have yachts.With its new lineup of stores and restaurants Disney Springs seems to be trying to price out the riff-raff. Instead they're pricing me out.

Our first few trips, the only money we ever spent at DTD was at the magnet store and a major splurge at Lego. Fortunately, that's all the boys really wanted - a cup of Lego, and a magnet for Nana.With its new lineup of stores and restaurants Disney Springs seems to be trying to price out the riff-raff. Things got a little better on subsequent trips.
Truth be told, I've never heard of virtually any of these new tenants. Good thing browsing and window shopping is still free!

We don't spend much time there. Some trips my wife and daughter would shop at World of Disney or whatever it's called while I took my son to Typhoon Lagoon. Does that make me sound like a spoiled brat?
When we first started going (our first trip was in 2002), we used to walk the entire length of DTD, looking at everything. Now we really only stay in the Marketplace. World of Disney and the Christmas store are really the only ones we go in now. We used to like Team Mickey, too, but that's not there anymore. And the only thing that keeps us there for a while is T-Rex.
