I love fireworks'es.Supposed to be nice & sunny on Monday, with 0% precipitation in the forecast. Planning on saying 'Hello Dolly', checking out a new drop tower ride, and staying late for some fireworks'es.

So....
After a very long day here yesterday we packed the car late last night and said our goodbyes to the grandson and family. Seconds into the drive we got an alarm light indicating a tire problem, so now we're waiting for Pep Boys to open...

A good recent movie with him is Mud with Matthew McConaughey.Sam Shepard passed away. He played one of my favorite people (Chuck Yeager) in one of my favorite movies growing up (The Right Stuff), which I now see was ironic considering he had a fear of flying.
Cool - thank you.A good recent movie with him is Mud with Matthew McConaughey.

We ended up having to replace the tire because it had a hose clamp embedded into it, so we didn't get started til around 11 this morning. Then we got lost in Manhattan..., so we just got in to the hotel in Virginia after dropping off another load of stuff to the storage unit. Tomorrow we'll drive back to RI where we'll spend a whole week before we leave again.Yuck. Cars are a pain in the butt. Any update on the problem--was it an easy fix, or is it something more than that. At least it could have happened when you were back home, but no . . .
Bummer about the rocky start to your trip. Hopefully it is smooth sailing after those first few hurdles. Of course, the getting lost in Manhattan part does sound like a fun misadventure to get into, but you might've had some different words to describe the circumstance. We ended up having to replace the tire because it had a hose clamp embedded into it, so we didn't get started til around 11 this morning.
