Really, nothing more than a bigger, doughier, soggier crouton!
Love me some dumplings. Down here in the south the big thing is chicken and biscuits. I always go for the dumplings, the big fluffy kind, not the steamrollered, flat Cracker Barrel type. For a single person like myself, Banquet has a Chicken and Dumplings complete meal which contains canned chicken stew and a package of dumpling dough (powder, just add water and stir). I add additional chicken to it because they can sometimes get fairly cheap with the chicken they provide, but, I love it. It's big enough for three so I split it up in threes and have three meals out of it. My favorite part is the dumplings but the stew is quite good as well. P.S. I don't like biscuits (to dry) but, I don't mention that to the locals.

Another irrelevant trivia link from the girl who watches way too much late night tv. Cheers' final episode aired two days before my wedding.

I have a couple of books from the Mental Floss series. Back in the day, the boys and I could easily spend a couple of hours at a Chapters book store. I may not have done everything right, but I raised a couple of avid readers.

That looks delicious. :hungry: Did you or your wife cook that?

By the way, I've never seen dumplings in stew, unlike many of the people here. My grandmother and mother never made it with dumplings. I figure I better not start now making dumplings, because it would violate the ancestral code of no dumplings in stew. :cautious:
Dumplings - you're not missing anything.
