Apocalyptic.
Last Wednesday was record highs, Thursday it snowed a foot and a half, Sunday it went from sleet to hail to snow to rain in the course of 2 hours and today it was sunny with 60 mile per hour winds.

So I'm riding around Hattiesburg today to meet someone for lunch when the person in the car in front of me throws a fast food bag full of trash and some cups out of his window and onto the side of the road. Seriously people?
This infuriates me when I see a (rare) person littering like that. It's like when I'm on a gorgeous hiking trail in a beautiful nature setting, and I see candy wrappers, empty water bottles, etc., that some idiot decided to just dump. Can't ever understand why someone would go to the wilderness to hike and enjoy the scenery--and then dump trash there?!

She already knows I got it. She wanted it but could never find one. I honestly did a double take when I was walking through the game aisle and saw it there hiding on the bottom shelf inside the cabinet. I knew I had to get it.

Are you sure about that? I've heard that it's a bit of an old wives tale (such as, if you go outside without your jacket in the rain, you'll catch a cold). Personally, I'm very healthy in the winter--I think the colder air makes you healthy, as long as you go outdoors in it enough.
It just seems that when the weather fluctuates back and forth between the warm and cold, more people come down with one kind of bug or another...Are you sure about that? Don't you just love when you see a sign that says "do not litter" and there's litter all over next to the sign?

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
I am headed out to sit on a rock hard bleacher and watch game one (of a best of three) high school basketball final.
My brother and his family will be coming too, so at least I won't be sitting by myself this time - not that I mind that either.
After that, we're all going out for dinner at our favourite local dive, Sammy's.
Hope you all enjoy your evening ... with whomever you love.
