So far, we have 11 inches. We had a blizzard today--it was really fun. The snow was coming down sideways! :joyfull:

Boss let me out of work early, too, before noon. Went to train station and saw someone I used to work with, and we had a fun gabfest, which continued on the train that we both got on. Got to the first stop and it wasn't our stop? But, but . . . could we be that LAME that were we chatting and not paying attention -- and got on the wrong train?!

Yes . . .:D

Hence, a 90 minute commute ended up taking me around 3 hours, because we had to switch rail lines a few times to get back to the correct one--and wait for the next train to pull in!! :hilarious:

You are just too funny! At least you were having a good time, an old friend and snow, a perfect day for you!

Not sure it's one that I would have wanted to share... but, whatever!

You know what's funny?
I know there are two schools of thought out there, but I find their castle to be underwhelming. I like ours much better! *says the girl who has never been to DL. :joyfull:

I'm always surprised how small it is when we first walk into the park. But then you get used to it. It's kinda cool. I mean, its really old too and it fits quite nicely within the space.

Their park is more charming and intimate overall. Seems like the details were just a tad more important. But today was really really busy, which made me miss the space of MK.

But. Comparing the entire two resorts, WDW still wins in my opinion.

I'm one of those oddballs that likes the DL castle better than the MK one. Granted, nothing wrong with MK's castle. It is stunning & magnificent to say the least. But the only time I ever visited DL (summer of 1993), that castle, though tiny by comparison, just stuck with me. I saw Walt when I looked at that castle. I was just floored by the thought that, Walt stood here. Walt walked through there. He opened the world of theme parks standing in front of that thing. This is the real deal that started it all. There are some things in life from childhood you never forget. Seeing Sleeping Beauty castle for the very first time and realizing I'm in Walt's park was one of mine.
