As I mentioned this morning we went to Sea World today. I love Sea World, and we have AP's for it so we usually just go for a few hours, but today we spent the day there. It wasn't too crowded, but that's OK. They had a deal going for AP members for dinner for 2 at Sharks Underwater Grill for $69, gratuity included. It also came with priority seating for the shows, and a free photo from one of the special photographers there, so it was quite a good deal. More about dinner later.
We started at the Sea Lion show, which is pretty lame, but has a great view of Kracken and Mako.
Then we headed over to the penguins. The ride is really not worth waiting for, but if you go through the No Ride line, you get in to the penguins right away.

We took a break at the Passholder's loungue for free soft drinks and ordered some chips and salsa to tide us over til dinner. The deal with the dinner is that it is held at 4:30 in the afternoon - kind of early for dinner, but late for lunch.
Anyway the Passholder's lounge is very nice, and Sea World really treats us well. We even had cast members thank us for being passholders.

We did a little shopping for the grandbaby-to-be (2 more weeks!), then visited the Wild Arctic. Unfortunately no pictures from there. We decided to head over to the sharks and see if we needed to sign in or anything. The spoonbills are right near there, so we stopped to take a couple of pictures.

When they pull out all the stops like that, they're hungry for business. And people notice when they're getting good service and deals--and they want to return. It might be nice to see more of this down the road at WDW . . .
