Picked up Wawa sandwiches and had a picnic lunch today then spent the afternoon at the pool. This retirement thing is pretty nice...

What about queso? I seem to remember that queso is an essential part of any Nemo-snowbirding.

Are you sure? Unless he's insane he probably wants you there at 4:30 PM.

*Is it patty or pattie? Cadbury calls its product York Peppermint Pattie, but a pattie refers to a meat product. According to the dictionary, “patty” is more correct for the candy.

OK - I have a random question. I was listening to Billy Joel on the radio this morning and I LOVE Billy Joel. Every Long Islander does. It's kind of universal. Do people in other parts of the country (continent) like his music or is it a regional thing? I know the Springsteen/NJ connection but he is pretty much an icon anywhere. Is Billy Joel or is that just a Long Island thing?

Ohioan here and my DW and I love Billy Joel. We've seen him twice in concert with Elton John and our wedding dance was to "She's got a way" (which I just googled and listened to).

(why isn't googled an acceptable word in the spell check?)

I was having drinks in this lounge last weekend and the DJ played an EDM remix of Big Shot. My first thought was that you would be very offended by this destruction of a Billy Joel song.
