How is this the first time this has come up?!
I don't know. I couldn't remember if I had ever mentioned that.

I can't stand the Islanders. Or their fans. And living on Long Island there are definitely more Islanders fans than Rangers fans. Although being that there are 2 choices (at least) for the four major sports I definitely see the most "fans" appear as teams hit their upswing. People that we're wearing Yankees gear back in the 90s were suddenly sporting Mets caps. That drives me nuts. Pick a team and commit. You can't just ride the bus for the good years....says the Jets fan.The most insufferable fans I experienced were Islanders fans on their turf. I gotta say, it felt so good when we wiped the floor with them
Those fans are bad too.
Sarcasm? He used to live in Ottawa. How is this the first time this has come up?!
Is it me, or does he not look like a young, pre-chunky Eric Lindros?Me too. I also really like Zach Parise. (Although, I don't think the coach is dreamy.)

No actually not - he's never chimed in on the hockey talk before - it's probably been while he's on hiatus. It's always nice to talk pucks with people - hockey fans are hard to come by sometimes.Sarcasm? He used to live in Ottawa.
In the photo - a little? I wouldn't say so in real life.Is it me, or does he not look like a young, pre-chunky Eric Lindros?
Eric may not have been born here, but he's more Cananadian than many people who were.No actually not - he's never chimed in on the hockey talk before - it's probably been while he's on hiatus. It's always nice to talk pucks with people - hockey fans are hard to come by sometimes.
That's okay. Eric doesn't look like Eric any more either. In the photo - a little? I wouldn't say so in real life.

FTFY.They're especially hard to come by here in the Deep South. I know I've mentioned I'm not the biggest sports guy, but I do enjoy hockey. Definitely my favourite sport.

Looking at you ....

FTFY.
Technically, I highlighted it and spell check fixed that for ya.
Not until you start to use the proper spelling: CANANADIAN.Maybe you could make me an honorary Canadian.
For a second I thought you were talking about me.
You know, a lot of times I do go to spell it that way but spell check changes it for me.

Right you are. @JenniferS is there any way you could make me an honorary Cananadian?
Who doesn't! However, there is always NC State!Hubby's a UNC fan, which means he hates all things Duke.
Our leader is better looking than yours. You don't want that. I have been there. You will coming running back.
When I married a Cananandian woman, my new brother in law gave me a book titled... "Everything you always wanted to know about Hockey, but, were afraid to ask". I opened it up and saw some vague reference about a Blue Line, put the book down and never looked at it again. Don't feel I missed anything. No actually not - he's never chimed in on the hockey talk before - it's probably been while he's on hiatus. Who isn't? Bet he doesn't have that nice warm orange glow though. Our leader is better looking than yours.
