I thought about it and I thought about it some more. On Thursday and Friday unkadug and I had a handful of PMs about my posting daily funny pics here and he was all for it. Going back and reading those PMs today still gives me shivers. I've decided that I will post them although most days won't be a "wake up". :joyfull:

I miss his Today's wake-up pictures. They were always good for a smile to start the day... :depressed:

If it helps, we were supposed to get 4 to 8 inches here in Raleigh by now. So far just a light dusting and some sleet. I know from experience that up north can handle a little sleet by sending out the salt trucks and like magic, it's pretty much gone. Here, they wait until the event is over and then go out and do almost nothing about melting the ice. The ground under is still warm here and it would take so little to bring everything back to normal, but, this will cripple us for at least two days, maybe more. I know I have no place in particular to go, but, geez, at least try. Up north we would have been out during the storm spreading salt or sand and staying ahead of it. Sleet requires salt, not a two inch strip of brine put down two rain events ago. I should go get a big ole mess of Biscuits and Gravy and get to be more southern so it doesn't frustrate me to watch. Can ya'll have collards with biscuits to maybe speed up the process? ;):joyfull:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I heard these pins are available at Epcot only until July 1.

Eric, if you go to Epcot you should pick up an extra one
as a surprise gift for Jennifer.

Hey, Jennifer, you weren't supposed to read this! Now the big surprise is ruined. :(

No worries. I didn't read the big surprise.
