Hazel actually worked for Mr. B.Sorry, wrong answer. Hazel is not a color. It is the one used when you don't know. How do I know that? Because my Fathers drivers license said that he had Hazel eyes. What he actually had was one green eye and one brown eye. Show me on the color chart any shade that is identified as Hazel. Now Hazel is a name given to females in the early 20th century. I know that because that was my Mothers name.
And just to add injury to insult... it's 61 degrees F here right now at 8am.
As to hazel bring an eye colour:
Hazel eyes are due to a combination of Rayleigh scattering and a moderate amount of melanin in the iris' anterior border layer. Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a brown to a green. Although hazel mostly consists of brown and green, the dominant color in the eye can either be brown/gold or green.
