So, did anyone happen to see the Disney special last night on TV? I saw maybe an hour of it, as I was tired and fell asleep by 9. But at least I got to see the professional (brother and sister) dancers, Derek and Julianne Hough, perform an excellent dance routine. There were a number of singers that performed as well, and I like the placement of the stages in the various parks (just for this special). They skipped over to Disneyland for some scenes as well, and to Tokyo for a brief scene.
Unlike some previous specials over the past few years, the one last night didn't seem to ram DVC sales pitches down your throat. That was refreshing for a change.
I am curious about the 2nd hour--wondering if they focused more on Disney and less on the performers.

You cannot compare that... only one has a boat load of people sinking to the bottom of the ocean. So you are correct. There's nothing like a good old love story involving the death of thousands. Gotta love those feel good movies.
