The Caps-Rangers broadcasters were talking about the Rangers' "power play quarterbacking situation." I hope they're using Ryan Fitzpatrick.

A Cubs-Indians WS sounds really cold.
Yeah Cleveland has had some bitterly cold World Series games in the past. The coldest being game 4 of the 1997 World Series, which including wind chill had temperatures dipping down into the teens.

Winning pitcher Jaret Wright sure was happy to get that victory under his belt, despite the freezing cold. His celebration dance after the game was priceless.

We didn't have much color down here due to the drought. What rain we did get recently was too little too late.
Everyone has a theory about the leaf colors in the fall. I don't know if any of them are correct or if they just happen based on what is going on right now. Here in NC it is a little early (a couple of weeks) to be looking for it. The first year I was here we had almost no rain (actual drought conditions) and the summer was blisteringly hot (two or three weeks straight in the 105/106 degree range. Yet, the colors were absolutely vibrant. Matched anything I had ever seen in Vermont after 63 years of living there. So I'm still out on what and when as it relates to fall foliage.
