Our governor wants to go back to starting school after Labor Day beginning next year. We used to do that, about 20 years ago, and for the same reason. So businesses at Ocean City and other beach towns could keep their cheap high school workers through Labor Day.

It's in the lower 70s here. Sooo comfortable I'm thinking of taking a blanket and napping in my camp chair on the porch. Next week it'll be back to the mid-90s.
