Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Nope, they use a laser! My hope is that whomever the surgeon is he/she spent a lot of time playing video games in their youth so that they have a good aim. I try not to imagine the damage that a laser could do if it misses it's mark. They also have to take out the stint that they put in there 5 weeks ago.

Following up on this, above. I'm assuming you're better now since your laser surgery. I hope you're feeling o.k.

Thanks for remembering. Actually, I'm worse now then before because I have more pain with this part of it then that first procedure, however, there is a light at the end of this tunnel. I'll just grit my teeth and get over it. It just more annoying then debilitating. Everything went OK though. I went in the O.R. at 8am and was on my way home by 11:30am. Armed with a new regiment of drugs, but, no followup appointments so they must think it's done. I'll take their word for it. This was a completely unplanned detour in my schedule for this year. The only thing left to do is take out the replacement stint (which I have to do myself). I'll save you from the "ewe" parts of that little detail. :in pain::jawdrop::oops:

"Light at the end of the tunnel" ... what an apt choice of words. :hilarious:

I may have had a long, boring day at work, and I may have a skull-splitting headache, but life is good.

There are back to back episodes of Corner Gas on tv, and I've got chicken pot pie and funky salad.

Darn it all, turns out the chicken pot pie is beef. :(

I don't think I've ever had beef pie. I do love a good chicken pot pie so I could see your disappointment. Was it good?
It was good, but considering it was a St. Hubert's (nobody knows what this means except @Eric1955) and they are a chicken franchise ....

Hubby popped it into the oven as I was driving home, and even he didn't realize he had grabbed beef instead of chicken.

Funny thing is I hate pastry. Won't touch it in a fruit pie, but wrap it around some meat, veggies, and gravy, and oh baby!

I gave up when I saw the peas....
You don't like peas?

Growing up, I hated them. My mom, being English, only served canned peas. Yuck-o-rama!
It wasn't until I moved out and bought frozen peas for the first time that I discovered I loved them.

Actually all veggies, with the exception of niblet corn, is better cooked from frozen vs canned.

My son loves peas. I put the frozen ones in a bowl, cover with water, microwave 2 minutes, drain the water and sprinkle with garlic salt. He would eat a giant full cereal bowl of peas with every meal if I made them. He also likes string beans and broccoli. Always fresh or frozen - never canned.
