Right now we're getting the biggest thunderstorm we've had in years. It's better than Illuminations.

I'm on the screened in porch to watch it and listen to it. I just checked the basement to make sure the pumps are keeping up.

You know what's funny?
Here it goes...just a few today because it is almost Spurs game time!
Day 1: Sunday, April 17
After driving over two days, we arrived at our resort around 2PM. We had an early dinner (around 5pm) planned at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary, where we would be meeting up with a friend from work. Her husband had just run the Star Wars Half Marathon that weekend so they would be leaving the following day. My sister and niece also flew in this day and arrived around the same time we did.
Here are a few from our resort, Art of Animation, prior to going to dinner. It was a good time to walk around to get a feel for the place. We stayed in a Finding Nemo family suite which was the perfect space for the 5 of us. A queen bed in the bedroom, and a murphy bed and sofa bed in the living room. Plus two full bathrooms which came in handy. The girls loved the resort, as I expected.
Pool area...which was huge and included a splash zone for little ones...
Plus two from Chef Mickey's....
After dinner we headed back to resort to rest up as we knew this would be the only day we would be able to get the girls into bed at a decent hour...
That is all for today...short and sweet. I will get into the parks tomorrow when I post for day 2...which included AK and MK!

I booked my Disney trip. Lost 20 lbs. Sold 82 houses in the past week. And most importantly, missed a notification for this thread, and fell two and half days behind.

Ended after 930. We were told RoE was canceled and left R&C. Announcement then said it was happening shortly when we reached Canada.
Park already cleared out so we were able to get a railing spot.
The moral is to just sit inside at R&C.
