I took some kids I was babysitting sledding, one of the kids flipped off his sled and hit a tree. I wasn't asked back to babysit.....
I once had a kid jump off the couch and fall into the coffee table and his tooth went into his lip. So much blood from a little cut that turned out to be OK. I cleaned him up, put ice on it and called my parents to bring me a clean shirt - nothing like having on a blood covered shirt when the parents come home. My dad and my sister came over and confirmed that it was just a small cut and he was OK. I let the kids stay up a bit to be sure he was totally fine then put the kids to bed. When the parents came home I told them what happened and - being Canadian - the mom said, "Wow - what a night. Don't worry - kids get hurt all the time. Want a beer?"
I was going to ask if it was @JenniferS's kid before the beer comment.

The company that does the fabric protection for my new furniture was just here. Both chairs, the sofa & love seat, all cushions and pillows have been sprayed. I cannot sit on them for 3-4 hours.
The bed is already made. Now what am I supposed to do? Too bad dude didn't come yesterday while I was gone for 9 hours.
Pre-wedding mani and pedi later, but for now I am down in the family room with Hubby.

I have in fact listened to all of your complaints and have actively altered many of the future plans for the parks because of them.
I know many are worried about the future of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I want to assure everyone that the rumored Guardians of the Galaxy rebranding will be implemented. You're welcome. We're not going to change the exterior though. Disney isn't made of money after all.
Everyday people seem to continue to rave about Frozen and the insanely positive reaction to the Maelstrom rebranding has been incredible. So we have decided to rebrand even more attractions to include Frozen. Many have complained about the frightening nature of the Haunted Mansion so we are going to remove all that fright and replace it with warm hugs. That's right in 2019 Haunted Mansion will be transformed into Olaf's Mansion!
Now I know what you're wondering. How can a non-profit like the Walt Disney Corporation afford all these changes? Our tickets and lodging is so inexpensive that there is no way we can possibly afford to make these wonderful changes. That is why we are unfortunately going to have to make some changes to our prices. Starting May 1st we will introducing a resort fee at all of our hotels. Next year we are also rolling out Fastpass++, a new pay as you go version of our Fastpass system. Fastpass+ will be immediately discontinued.
So I'm very confident that our upcoming plans will continue to impress our returning guests and keep your money coming to us for years to come!

Thank you so much for all your efforts!!!! I just can't wait for Avatar Land to open! The only thing in my mind that could top that would be a Pocahontas Land or maybe even a Stitch Land!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!

You know what's funny?
So DW is at the airport and will be flying out in a couple hours. Earlier this morning, she told the kid that she was taking a plane to see "Opa" in België because he was sick so she would be gone for a few days. The kid said she wanted to go with her and started to get upset when she was told she couldn't. She is stuck with Daddy.
