Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

This commercial made me laugh:

There's more then one of those... The one I see all the time is the same except what he says last... As he walks out he says... "Not even in my home?" I think it is good that he can joke about what must have been a devastating personal tragedy. I guess you can hold to the death dog fights without any lasting harm, but, god forbid you bet on yourself.

I feel bad for Pete. Yes, I know he broke the rules, but, at the time he was betting on himself to win, not the other teams. It created no conflict or even a thought that he might throw the game. I think that anytime anyone attempts to erase the accomplishments of anybody it is a mean spirited thing to do. One can prevent any future participation, but, one cannot erase history no matter how hard one tries or how justified one thinks it is. Drug induced accomplishments are one thing, (think bicycles here), but, actual accomplishments erased because of a situation that had no influence on that accomplishment is a bit over the top.

In baseball there can be a conflict of interest even in betting on your own team to win a game. With pitching decisions, what's best for winning today's game may not be best for winning tomorrow's or the next day's or even for a player's health.
