Yep, I'm not big fan of disrupting vacations with bad news if it will keep. This will keep. I had DD keep checking her cousins FB cause I'd rather tell him than him read it on FB.

I'm not sure what will happen with extended care. The detectives went there when they were looking for her, it seems to have tainted the waters for her being on the floor where she would be mostly independent and with her own apartment and furniture and that is before the staff have even met her. We might be back to square one and looking for a different place for her. Might be for the best all things considered. I tossed out that idea last night and it was not met with daggers by the SILs (yet.)

Yep, hope you can talk to him before anyone else. The voice of calm reason is always better with such things.

Wow. Sorry this option seems to be falling apart a bit, but, as you said, may be for the best. Hope all is worked out to everyone's liking, especially hers, soon.

Just a comparison. And, I agree, coke (in particular) tastes better out of a bottle.

But, I do prefer Mexican Coke with real sugar (or Kosher Coke that they sell around Passover).

Yep, don't buy it. I'd buy into the comparison more if it were blind, both in glass bottles and unidentified as which was the cane sugar. People are just to malleable.

DS says the chops rival the ones from Disney's Yachtsmen.

Why yes yes it is. Her birth name was JULIE Flag.

You can see in this photo of our birdie that is out of his element ready to grab some Dory. There is a better shot of Dory in this photo along with all the road closures around the Riverwalk. Also in this photo is a little bit of the Magic Kingdom in our little Hamlet. You can see the big pump and the blow up bladder to redistribute the flood waters just like the moats in the Magic Kingdom. Ah Memories.

RIP DORY!
You were delicious! (or so the birdie said)

I made a point to locate the The Big Pink Birds while at Animal Kingdom in April. There is also another little group of them on the safari. They had babies. My DD and I and one other family were the only ones on the safari so I asked the guide when the babies were born, they were so tiny and short little legs. He didn't have a clue. So he radio'd his question. Nobody knew. :cyclops: Awkward and kinda disappointing.

I really liked it when Epcot had the flamingos though, it was shady there at the entrance of the WS and pleasant to stop and just watch them especially at feeding time. I like to think of their ancestors starting at the Original Discovery Island, then Epcot and for the time being Animal Kingdom.

Tomorrow I will post my latest flamingo photo, I found her today.
Speaking of Flamingos.. its not usual to see some flamingos flying where I live.
a pair were flying in the distance.. It was interesting to see HOW LONG THEIR LEGS ARE compared to their flying body.

Very much like the bird I posted a few hours ago. He is amazingly long in leg and wing. So cool to see him fly. He has been around for about 3 years now. Not usually around these parts. He goes from a huge county detention pond to the river and repeat. I don't see him in the winter so he must snow bird it but comes back.
I've never seen anymore than just him. Wonder what is up with that.

I have never seen a Flamingo fly. All the ones I've seen have had their wings clipped. :(
Same with our swans, they clip their wings before their first birthday. :cautious:
