My DD had her initial interview with the University of Arizona today. Went well but her opinion was they left way too much out of the job description posting.

Smiled and gave an affirmative nod to your daughter's observation (above). I've had multiple jobs in my life, and I don't think even one of them gave a clear job "description"; what happens more often, is that they insert "related duties as required" at the end of the post. Hence, my own experience has been 50% in line with the first part of the job description, and 50% of whatever else needed to be done. Case in point: a friend of mine worked for a college professor who had a frog, as a pet, in a tank (in his office). She soon found out that part of her "related duties" was to feed live crickets to the frog!!

@PUSH you mention "Happy" and a NJ Lottery ad playing the song comes on. Meg must be watching and controlling my cable company.

Do you know to to stop hearing NJ Lottery ads?

Move from NJ. :D

I don't like ice tea but I could consider drinking a Long Island ice tea now.

Last night I watched the episode of TBBT where Sheldon drinks LIT's (not knowing they were made of alcohol) then confronts Wil Wheaton. Too funny
Worst song on a flute or recorder:
Angel -Sarah McLachlan
My heart will go on-Celine Dion

Angel - everytime that commercial comes on I have to change the channel.

Animal Shelters - no prob.
Their ads and infomercials - mute or fast forward.

If they didn't seem like they lasted forever it wouldn't be that bad....give us a 15 second version of the commercial and I might actually watch it.

9:00 (ish).
Do I stay up? Or go back to bed for another hour or so?

I don't think I can make such a major decision without a few more ZZZ's.

Happy Friday everyone. Back in a bit.

We had a cricket problem in the basement over the winter. The cat would go downstairs and go cricket hunting. I'd find all of these dead crickets around with missing limbs and couldn't figure out the problem until one evening she was on my lap and I was watching TV in the dark. A cricketchirped and she leaped off my lap. That cricket had chirped his last. After that I realized that she was spending a lot of time down there and that no matter how much I vacummed, I would keep finding dead crickets.

Oddly enough, we don't have any more crickets in the basement.
