When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Good morning all. We went to Kennedy Space Center yesterday with our guests. Today they want to go to AK. They leave tomorrow afternoon, and round 2 of guests arrive tomorrow morning.

And did anyone remember to feed the goat?
Do you actually have to feed a goat?
I thought the whole point of owning a goat was that you turned them loose and they just did for themselves.

(Maybe that's just Canadian goats?!)

I was given some dark chocolate and chili truffles for my birthday last summer and have been looking for other ways to combine the two in other dishes ever since. I'm not a huge spicy food fan either so it's weird that I loved it so much.

Mexican chocolate was a surprise to me also. I'm not a spicy food person by any means. Little things like Mexican Chocolate are finally enjoyable as I age and my taste buds die off, the new ones regenerated are far more tolerant. :hungry:

I think it wants a friend. Maybe you can "borrow" one from the AK petting zoo.

The Goat would likely be happy to leave. Placed on the wrong side of the tracks, the better life on the right side of the tracks is the safari.

That Petting Zoo is not exactly habitat friendly. I feel sorry for those animals huddled in the shade with nothing to do. So unlike Disney, more like a carnival petting spot. Went out there in 2012, had some time, will likely be another 10 years before I go out there again, maybe by then I'll forget again.

Maybe the goat can start a FB Page to Save the Goats at AK?

On the mid-day news they are making Chocolate Chili! A mix of Texas Chili and Mole sauce for the Chocolate Fest this weekend in N. IL. Slurp.

A few observations from my trip:

-People seem to be much more concerned about their own families than the enjoyment of a large group of people: a la the woman who used her cellphone flashlight to light up the room on SGE because HER kid was scared when the lights went out. I nearly shimmied out of the harness and beat her with her kid's lightsaber but decided against it.

-There are plenty of hidden 1 table service gems at the resorts: I found the Captain's Grill every bit as delicious and beautifully presented as California Grill for half the price. I thought the same of The Wave last year. Cali beats them both on ambiance but you can't eat ambiance and I'm there for the grub.

-Hall of Presidents makes me tear up EVERY time. One of my favorite attractions.

-On a rainy, foggy night you can't really see the fireworks so there is no sense lining up on Main Street and blocking the traffic flow for a good spot. Glad we pushed through and went on Jungle Cruise instead.

-The cronut is every bit as good as billed. Delicious.

-Fastpass+ has turned DHS into a 1 hour park for us. Star Tours, then GMR, then TSMM. Thank you and goodnight.

-My family was independently noticing things like the dirty screens in Soarin', light bulbs out, etc. so these maintenance issues are being observed by more than just fanboys at this point.

That's all I can think of! Thanks for reading my February 2014 trip report.

So I'm not sure if this is a spoiler or not, but I'll put it in a spoiler thing anyway. It has to do with the US Women's hockey game against Switzerland.

That awkward moment when a meme spells "awkward" and "Broncos" wrong and uses "woman" when it should be "women".

PS- Not to be picky, but it should be "That awkward moment", not "The awkward moment"... that's just how the memes tend to be 99.9% of the time.

Maybe the "Bronocs" are a local bowling team the meme maker knows that only knocked down 8 pins in the league championship final...?

I did DHS mostly solo and got so much done by 1pm. I actually looked around the One Man's Dream exhibit and the Animation Courtyard for the 1st time in a while. I do like those once in a while, but I was still out of there by a little after 2. I skipped TSMM though.

Mole poblano is the mix between the two :P

@PUSH said he would do it. The goat eats jello, right?
congrats, you just killed the goat!
