We've all been waiting in line for Sharknado. The entire tri-state area has been shut down. Traffic jams on the roads with people trying to find parking spots, lines millions of people deep. I'm lucky I got in line right at the announcement. I'm only a few hundred deep.

Though despite the long lines, heavy traffic, and overall madness in getting tickets for Saturday's showing, it has certainly brought abundant joy to the masses.

My father in law calls the "baseboard radiator" the "baseboard radiation". When my husband and I bought our house he (my husabnd) said he needed to "fix the radiation". I replied, "We live in Chernobyl?". He was not amused. I still chuckle thinking about it.
