On Tuesday, one of the NY radio stations said that he fractured his collarbone but was going for a second opinion - and they weren't sure if that qualified as a discount double-check.
I've heard several different opinions on his injury - some say it's a broken collarbone, some say just a chipped collarbone, some say 4-6 weeks, some say 3 weeks. Well played, Packers organization, you have confused people and nobody knows what's actually up. And I'm sure that's exactly what they wanted.

PS- Rodgers was not listed as "out" on Wednesday's injury report, just "did not participate (in practice)". Rather interesting being that everyone is saying he is going to be out for a while.

That is weird - don't they usually err on the side of making things sound worse?

I think they try to cover as much information as possible. They don't want their opponents knowing of any weaknesses that player might be dealing with, and they don't want them gameplanning against those players. I'm not sure about the making it sound worse thing. I believe there are league doctors that go around and making sure the correct labels are being placed on injuries (questionable, doubtful, etc).

So with the holiday season practically knocking on the door, have any of us pondered the thought of having our very own Sageteer Christmas Special? Think about it, everyone has had a holiday special at one point: The Muppets, Shrek, Charlie Brown, The White House, Disney, Star Wars, Sesame Street, Lady GaGa, any given TV sitcom, Garfield...the list goes on & on. So why not the Sageteers?

The most difficult part of this venture will be finding a TV network to run this special. Of course, after any network exec takes a gander at our lighthearted, whimsical shenanigans that take place in this thread daily, there is no doubt they will be sold on the idea of running our special on primetime for the world to see.

Of course, we'll have to follow the basic formula which is required for any Christmas/holiday special:
-A lively opening bit introducing all the members & special guests.
-A host
-Special musical guests & appearances
-A cheesy background plot where something goes wrong & Christmas "may" not happen...yet in the end, everything works out & Christmas is saved.
-Spontaneous singing
-A Santa appearance toward the end of the show.

What are everyone's thoughts? I'm currently contacting CBS at this very moment.

I'm in, as long as I get top billing of course.

There was always supposed to be a sequel for @Bob Saget's WDWMagic Christmas Carol. How about we do that?

Can I play the festive, singing trash can? I'll wear a Santa hat and sing Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.
