As part of a project I'm working on, I received two Excel files titled "bmlist" and "bmselection" (bm is short for benchmark).

Reminds me of Friends when Chandler is working on the (Annual Net Usage Statistic).

I blame Eisner all right. His incredible 'Disney Decade' of the 1990's now has everyone spoiled, causing whining & gnashing of teeth if we don't get a major new attraction every 1-2 years.

I'm what you call a Michael Eisner Super Supporter.
(That's why I BM so often today, because I'm such a MESS. Does anyone else feel like a MESS when you BM?)

People here really are that clueless. We have managers (males) who don't seem to understand that PMS is not a good abbreviation for Public Management Systems.

At my old job we had a folder on the F: drive with the company name - we'll say Apple for this example - so every time you were directing a person to a file you would start with F-Apple. New people always laughed.

In Virginia students all have to take SOL tests. The full name is Standards of Learning, but the state government routinely refers to them by the abbreviation.

We have a Pyle Middle School just down the road but its web site seems to carefully avoid that abbreviation. They call it Pyle MS.
