This just reminded me of the time back in the day when they were finally running the sewer lines down our street. There is some main connection thing right in front of our house, so for literally months we had this stupid barrel (no offence PUSH) in the middle of the street to remind us not to drive into the ditch there. I got so tired of it that I decorated it for Christmas, and eventually Valentine's Day. If I had a grass skirt back then, I definitely would have done that!

We had cesspools. Parts of our city still do, and most rural parts of the state have either cesspools or septic tanks. Yup Yup....
