Some areas produce different grades of maple syrup. I think, for overall consistency, I love Vermont maple syrup. @Goofyernmost , would you agree with that? Do you think Vermont produces the best? You lived there, so I figure you might have a good idea. I absolutely love maple syrup. :hungry: :hungry: It's sinful how much I pour on pancakes. Luckily, I don't eat pancakes that often.

I guess I am deprived, I've never had Vermont maple syrup. I've skied there, almost hit a tree, could have tapped my own.

You are forcing me into a confession. Although I lived in Vermont and Northern New York State for a total of 62 years I have never bought any Maple Syrup in my life. I've had some given to me from time to time, but, meh... it was nothing that makes the earth move. I prefer the good old maple flavored corn syrup stuff like Mrs. Butterworth then "real" Maple Syrup. One of the reasons is that I don't have to mortgage my property to buy it. :greedy: The last time I checked it was about $45.00 per gallon and the worst part of it is that it is one of the few things that actually does grow on trees.

The real syrup is very expensive, but sooo good . . . (I have only bought the smaller-sized bottles or cans.)

I had to laugh, though, when I read you prefer Mrs. Butterworth!! :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:

I like Mrs. Butterworth, I loved Maple syrup. And it was a gift. Not likely to buy it for family breakfasts.

I normally don't like sitcoms today but the title of the episode was 'Gay or British' so I had to watch the show.

Btw....Send some rain over here. I love rain. Running in it is the best.
