It's hard to tell, Rodgers only played for one drive, so there wasn't a fair competition. They stopped Eddie Lacy, but our second stringers were in while the Seahawks starters were still in. A lot of the penalties came from special teams (the Packers punted on three consecutive plays because both teams were committing penalties).

In conclusion, can't tell from that game, but Rodgers didn't struggle moving the ball against them. Then again, Rodgers is, IMO, the best QB in the league.

That wasn't much of a conclusion, so I'll reconclude. Preseason doesn't tell you anything about how they will perform in the regular season (the Lions once went 4-0 in the preseason then went 0-16 in the regular season). I wouldn't be worried yet, they were one of the best last year.

I get to keep two positions from my team last season and my choice for going with the Seahawks over Cruz is apparently foolish, but the kept me alive last year when Cruz fizzled. Plus I get to keep an early draft while most gave theirs up to keep their top players.

Packers offense is one of the best so I figured if they can hold them off, I'm off to a good start and a bit closer to a $100 bottle of Scotch.

I would've taken Seattle's defense over Cruz. Cruz is overrated, IMO. And he got injured in the last game. I think Seattle's defense is going to be one of the best. They did sack Rodgers once. And they weren't playing all of their starters.

As much as the Falcon's fan in me doesn't want to say this...I think whoever wins the NFC West between Seattle & San Fran will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season (imo).

I'm not sold on either, yet. Although Seattle's offense did look sharp (aside from the two interceptions...). The 49ers haven't made a lot of noise yet. And the Packers defense looks vastly improved against the run. The first string defense looked pretty good against Marshawn Lynch. And they are getting consistent pressure on the QB (sacked Russell Wilson two or three times). And we all know what their offense can do, especially if the run game works out. I'm still hopeful for my Packers. I think they can go all the way as long as certain players stay healthy. It'll be fun to watch at the least!

I've refrained from commenting "BALLS!" to everything. I think that kind of behavior is only allowed in this thread.

The Pack certainly looks dangerous this year. I can see them easily in the NFC Championship, and you're right, they do have the potential for a Super Bowl run.

As do the Falcons! Haven't heard much about them so far, but that's not always bad. And they have a boatload of talent on offense.

Staying outta the spotlight, that's how the Birds like it. Let the media focus heavily on other teams & players, while the Falcons formulate their sneak attack into the final dance. We're like Velociraptors...you're looking at something else; minding your own business, then...ambush! So as far as I'm concerned, let the media have their love affair with Romo, Vick, Manning, & Brady. Let them be the attention-seekers. Because while everyone is looking over there...ambush!

That's the Packers way, too! But thanks to a certain WR who shall not be named (GREG JENNINGS), that hasn't been so easy this offseason. And then Eddie Lacy had a good performance and the media goes crazy. And I'm glad Rodgers isn't an attention seeker like other elite QBs. He's more like Drew Brees. Keep as low of proile as possible.
