That's one of the awesome thing about a hotel in Seattle: the inroom coffee is Starbucks.

Kinda. Really he gets very joyful. He used to have stuffed toy squirrels that he would throw in the air and do his happy dance. Even my dad thought he was cute which is saying something.
When I had pneumonia and couldn't leave the house for two weeks, he by my side the whole time and watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He is a good dog.

I love this story! Your doggie took such loving care of you. He made sure you got better.

Yeah, that's why. Just landed here, got a coffee, and wait to board. I do like seeing the strip as we land. Oh and thanks @MOXOMUMD!

If you fly back home through the Vegas airport, you might want to give the machines a try. I recall one trip out there, years ago, and while waiting for my flight, I played on one of the old "one-armed bandits". For a few quarters, I ended up with $30.00! I cashed in my winnings and even made it on my plane in time! :)

Hey, everyone! Thanks for helping me with my trip and keeping me company! Despite all the setbacks, I never had a more adventurous trip than that! Can't wait for the next one!

Believe it or not, my adrenaline is still on fire and I have to get right back to it! I may do a mini-adventure in Miami this weekend and try to figure out where to next.

Jet Blue has like $30 flights to Puerto Rico, Bahamas, and Jamaica. Maybe an island hop next?

Your trip report was very entertaining. :) Sure, we knew you couldn't possibly accomplish everything you set out to do, but it was fun following along with what you actually did, in a very short period of time. (My only regret was that you could not go to the Disney Museum.)

Now, one of the fun aspects about this Sagateer thread here, is that someone is always going on vacation. We just had yours and @StarWarsGirl95 . We will soon be hearing from @Cesar R M about his fabulous cruise to Alaska (I think he even bought a new camera for this). And now @seahawk7 is off to Seattle, so we're following along with her trip as well.

It's great to come home from work and check in on this thread, because I can live vicariously through all these vacations! I really look forward to catching up on all the details. :joyfull:

Hi Ho Silver Away!!!

I actually met Clayton Moore when I was a kid. He was doing a Lone Ranger "live" appearance, and he was on his horse passing by the crowd slowly, so people could say hello, take pictures, etc. Don't ask me how I managed to do this (as a young kiddo), but I was so excited to see him, that I reached up to shake his hand (but it was quite a reach, because he was way up high on his horse). Well, I sort of had to jump up and I pulled on his hand to reach it, and he nearly slipped sideways off his saddle! He laughed and said, "Whoa there, little filly!" HA! :hilarious: :hilarious:

Wanna here something funny? Don't care, I'm telling it anyway. As a kid the local TV Station (yes, there was TV back then) brought in Rin Tin Tin and Rusty! Highlight of my life at the time. Speed forward 55 years and a fellow that we hired to "clean buses" in Stowe, Vermont turned out to be (no, not Rin Tin Tin you fool) the one and only Rusty. aka, Lee Aaker.
I'm fully aware the the majority of you folks with a great deal of moisture behind the ears, do not even know about Rin Tin Tin and Rusty!
Look it up... that what they tell me the internet is for.

That's hilarious and amazing! My gosh, talk about a small world (and no, I'm not referring to the Disney ride, either!), and what an unusual situation 55 years later?! Great story!
