So are we. We usually go to WDW in August and someplace else in June so that if we have to adjust back from a time difference, it's summer vacation for me and my brother. But had we known...we probably would have rebooked for next year and just gone to WDW and stayed at Saratoga or AKL, which usually have last minute availability. Also glad @brifraz is home and chose to go in July!

So are we!! Feel bad for those that are there this week. It's going to be wet. Been reading some blogs and they announced yesterday that many events tonight and tomorrow will likely be cancelled.

Sorry that I'm once again member in absentia - after that wonderful week of being home and relaxing, I am not thoroughly back to work with two weeks of band camp, leaving my house at 8am and getting home at 10pm. That means that when I get home, it's a beer and then sleep - with no chance for Sageteering.

So we are pretty much set on going back beginning of February although if hubby's job runs behind schedule we will push it back until the end of February. I have to say - it is SO much easier making dining reservations without free dining in the mix. I've gotten everything I wanted and even shifted hugs around without any issues.

Well we have been talking about cousins......

A women in Brazil was given up for adoption and was recently reunited with her Mom and then she found out she had a brother.

But by chance she already knew her brother 'cause she has been married to him for 10 years and has a 6 year old son with him.

All was found out by participating on a TV show that reunites people.

No. I don't like MBs THAT much.

I might get an Elsa doll, or if I can't find an Elsa doll (or I'm not willing to pay as much as they cost) then I will get an Olaf plush, and possibly a shirt and maybe something else. One day, once we switch over to BCV, I'll go over there by myself while the rest of my family is at the pool and REALLY do the Frozen stuff. Wander into Oakens, see the parade and show, possibly do the ice skating (I think it's reasonably priced, and I may not get another opportunity to try it), and just really enjoy it.

Oh yummy!!! I wish I had one now for breakfast. I love the cupcakes at WDW. My favorite has been the Darth Vadar one, but the Frozen one looks delish, too!

As for Frozen souvenirs, I hope you can find Olaf. He's so cute and my favorite!

I'm enjoying reading your trip notes; I'm pretending I'm there.

Cupcake was chocolate with vanilla icing and a caramel filling. I liked it. My mom and I split it. She described it as "life changing".

Olaf's pretty easy to find. Near the Big Ugly Hat, there's a stand that sells a bunch of them. Elsa stuff is what's hard to find.

So today's plan: Breakfast this morning at The Wave or somewhere on the monorail loop, if I can get my parents out of bed, that is. Then pool, then MK, BOG for dinner, late MK night.

Well, as I was reading about the Memory Maker, I realized that there was a loop hole that would allow us to use it for both trips. After you download the first photo, you have 45 days to take additional photos. Photos expire 30 days after they are taken. So I waited and downloaded the photos at the 30 day mark. And I looked today. And the Memory Maker is still good. Was able to download our TofT and RnRC photos. Didn't expire just because we are no longer staying at the resort. So basically, free photo downloads for the length of this trip. SCORE!

Ahhh, you are your Daddy's Daughter! He has to love to see you catch things like this!

For the first time we had Memory Maker. In the Spring there were still issues with disappearing attraction photo's and threads galore about how to track your photos down, long phone calls, hours wasted at kiosk so we were very guarded. It all worked out perfect for us, so fortunate, just not as fortunate as you are, we had to pay for it.

40th anniversary of Nixon's Resignation tomorrow. I remember my Dad being glued to the TV every evening, resignations, more resignations, unknown President.

The moment as a kid when you know something is wrong but you're not quite old enough to understand anything about politics. #BLESSED

I have the older version of the Parks CDs in my truck. I pretend often. Can't pretend too much though while driving or I'd be a hazard to others like too many of the guests on property. They should be on a bus since they do not realize turning right from the left hand turn lane it taboo.

Oh! I didn't realize there were pressed penny machines anymore. I used to love those when I was a little girl. So happy to hear that these still exist, and you can create happy memories with your daughter!

There are more pressed coin machines than ever. They even have albums coin collectors have to store your collection in.

The white portion in the upper left is a tiny bit of the 7,000 sq. ft. existing residence. The rest is a portion of a 4,000 sq. ft. addition. They bought the 2 vacant lots to the right as the plan is oriented. The addition goes about 1/3 of the way into the first one. Out of the pic at the top is more addition to an existing game room - a big bar, shuffleboard area, and a stair down to a 20 seat home theater and concession below that. There is one powder bath, middle left, just above the craft and utility rooms. The other bath is a full in the guest suite (kitchen, dining, living, bedroom, and bath/walk-in closet) just out of view to your far right.
Besides Rapunzel, where would you like any of the other baths to be?

ETA: And, that visible portion on the far right just next to the guest suite is her personal office. The angled piece is a private computer/day bed niche, and the stair is going up to a library/loft that overlooks the office below, with an outdoor lounge/viewing terrace.

WOW. That's a big (and getting bigger!) house. Holy carp! With all of that in your private home, why on earth would you ever really need to leave? Very cool.

By chance, are these people looking to adopt a 30 year old daughter? I'm house broken and have great manners.
