Also I think I heard that they started filming Sharknado 3: The Third One, at the same time as Sharknado 2: The Second One, to save money on production costs. I wonder if they'll bring George Lucas in to add some plusses to it before they release the trilogy on blu-ray.

To answer my own question...yes - it is.
EDIT: I didn't reply to the post I was answering!! It was whether the co-pilot in Sharknado 2 is Dave Chapelle's girlfriend from Half Baked.
It's clearly an uncredited role because her IMDB doesn't list it, nor do the credits from Sharknado 2: The Second One. I spent WAY more time than I will EVER admit tracking down the answer.

We were actually watching stuff on Youtube. My best friends surprised my daughter and I yesterday with a 9-day Caribbean cruise vacation. Being a BIG chicken of being where I can't swim to shore
, they were showing me videos of the ship and ports of call. I think we'll survive the cruise. 
I'll just be a Nervous Nelly until then.
