I've used my heated seat for all three work-runs this week.
Average morning temp of 13 - that's 55 degrees to you.
Hardly peak of summer temps, that's for sure.

68 degrees at 1:00 p.m.

That, and the darn laptop didn't wanna' play nice last night.

We hit 100 on Monday. Looks like nothin' but 90's and some low 100's for the foreseeable future...

It's been strangely cool here too, for the DC area in July. A lot of the spectators were wearing jackets at my daughter's soccer game yesterday.

I think it means a Sharknado is on the way.

Yeah know the car thing all to well, we replaced two cars in less than 2 years, ouchie. Add in all the other stuff with the other cars

Yep. A necessary evil they sure can be, sometimes.
Now, if only had a 60's muscle car I could play with...maybe, someday.....

I just saw an article on the worst chain restaurant meals. This slice of cheesecake from Cheesecake factory (Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake made with Reese’s peanut butter cups and layers of fudge cake and caramel) has 1,500 calories:

We have not had rain in a while so I will have to water. It has been cool here this week and lows in the 50's at night.

no thanks, I still prefer direct errors.
just look what happened at windows 8.. you used to get very long and descriptive bsods (error codes with descriptions when something went bad.)

now you just get an annoying sad face in a blue background.

I get that on this laptop, which I learned this morning as I restarted her that it is not XP it is 7. Go figure.

Well I'm breaking that rule. My hair goes between my shoulder blades and top of my shoulders when I have it whacked off.

Allergy Eyes Visine.
Red Out Visine.
Tired Eye Relief Visine.
Advanced Relief Visine.
Classic Visine.
Antihistamine Visine.

Sadly, no "JenniferS rubbed the hell out of her eyes and now they hurt" Visine.

Try tears. It flushes pollens out and adds moisture similar to tears back to eyes vs Visine that shrinks the blood vessels in the eyes. Tears are very soothing.

I find that DC in the summer usually is uncomfortably muggy so I'd probably prefer the weather you are having now.

Here, however, it is 86.

Even if I could sleep in, the jackhammers would make trying to sleep pointless anyway. I just want to leave so I can stop hearing them. It is driving me insane right now.

For 3 days now the construction workers that are remodeling a bathroom next door have been making all sorts of noise. Monday sledge hammers, Tuesday jackhammers, today drills/concrete and nail guns. At least they wait until 8am but work til 7pm. This bathroom is huge so I bet it will look nice modern. It was finished in that 60's 70's shiny tile in dark browns on floor and half way up the walls and completely in the shower stall. Ugly Retro.

The news this morning said this has been one of the coldest Julys on record for NE Ohio. It's currently 63*.
