My CNN app is the only one that Pushes on my cell. It really is good when there is something I should know and am away from media. Thought I was going to put my head through the wall during the World Cup. Seriously, CNN should be News, ESPN should be sports. They pushed every game and just about every score, I came so close to disabling.

Now every unconfirmed Malaysia. I have little faith in CNN these days, they are no better than the gossip rags.
Need a better true news app.

I didn't like the final four, either. My favorites were Jake and Ken, but I knew they had no chance. It was just fun to see some actual strategy, something the first 4 seasons seemed to lack.

Didn't know that about Brian, but it really doesn't surprise me. I didn't like him because of the way he degraded people (like the multiple comments he made about the "good ol' days" when women did all the cooking and cleaning and the men just sat back). It seems like they do a much better job casting now than they did. So many boring or unlikable people. Do you remember Robb (with 2 Bs)?? Hate him. Also hated Clay. Helen wasn't bad until I saw how bitter she was.

Okay, I didn't run up to the hospital. I drove. So there.

I am ever so glad I did.

Uncle Paul has definitely rallied since this afternoon. There's a joke in our family that he's going to outlive us all. He just turned 87 last week, and he's definitely not bouncing back this time, but I am very grateful for the moments of lucidity he did have this evening.

I spent three hours with him. He knew who I was. He called me by name. Told me numerous times that he loved me. And said "God bless" multiple times.
He knows he's going, but he's not going without letting everyone know how much he loves them.

I feel so sorry for that branch of my family. My cousin Mick lost her husband just four months ago, and now she's losing her dad. And oh yeah, her 20 year old daughter's due date was today, and she is ready to pop any moment. The daughter has very complicated epilepsy and was warned against ever having children.

I suspect he'll pass within the next 24 hours, but I got to see him while he was at his best (post-stroke), and for that I am thankful.

And seriously, you never know, he might just outlive us all.

Supposedly there's a twist that we've never seen before, according to those promos they do during the reunion shows. I'm partially thinking there could be the addition of the hidden immunity idol, but also wouldn't be surprised if that's a ways down the line. The idols make everything so much more interesting. Also there's not as much backstabbing in these early days. I want to see more drama!
