We stayed at Naiboa, December (Christmas) 2002. Before the big Palace was built. The Bambu was always nutsy busy and Naiboa was laid back, less kids.

Naiboa was under refurb when we were there, and hopefully the Bambu went down next.
For the money, I was distinctly underwhelmed.

We did some supply shopping yesterday. (no Frozen) I can't believe there's a month until it starts again. Where did the summer go?

Amen. But really they have not been out that long after the extended school year due to the freak'n snow and sub-zero temps. The Temps actually got us more days off than the snow did. Oy.

I bombed my interview today. Really, really bad.

I've had a very high stress/high anxiety day where no levels of anxiety meds have helped. I cried at lunchtime with my friend and had a bad night last night with the roommate/ex boyfriend.

I'm quite miserable and I don't expect any sympathies or anything from you guys...I'm just not in a good way today, and need to tell someone. Besides my mom, who's at the end of her rope worried about me.

I'm sorry.

I'm gonna go find me a nice piggie for my avatar and hope this dark cloud passes over me soon.

Don't beat yourself up. If you don't get that job, then that job was not meant for you.

While DD will be open to working at any good University she has 3 dreams for the beginning of her career years.
UFC, U of I and UofTexas-Austin so she can also do her grad degree at the same time. The dream for a Grad degree is Texas-Austin 'cause their Grad degrees carry so much weight. She wonders if she could adjust to the heat.

My SIL that is a piece of work, got told by her OB after the baby was born that she behaved very badly, screaming. And rolled eyes at BIL (dh brother) as he was leaving room when BIL said he was feeling better, 'cause he fainted half way through the labor process.

So screaming went there for me......

No one aces every interview. Just chalk it up to getting more experience, interviewing for jobs. At least you went and you tried; that shows that you care. Things will look up for you in due course. Just give it time.

Life has its share of ups and downs, and doesn't always balance them out nicely, either. Most of us have been kicked around in life at one point or another. From my own experience, I've found that when things look bleak, they eventually get resolved. I promise you, better days are ahead.

Has anyone tried frozen yogurt by a company named Kemps? My grocery store ran a special promotion on them last weekend (2 containers for $6), so I bought 1 Moose Tracks, and 1 Black Jack Cherry (with some chocolate pieces mixed in it). YUM CITY! Oh, Kemps, where have you been all my life?! (The container lists Minnesota; that's a hike for them all the way to the East Coast. They must have some decent freezer trucks!) I'm so glad my store stocks these now!
