Pretty!

My second interview went really well... I'd really like that job, I would be a better fit there than the first. I hope they choo choo choose me. Fingers crossed :) it's a fab job in a great location with killer benefits and time off, plus they'll pay if I go back to school! Oh god, let this happen for me!

In the mean time, one more interview Monday afternoon.

interview #1 has already called, and talked to, all of my references. :)

WOOOHHHOOOOOOO!!!!! :joyfull:
Nothin' but good wishes and prayers to ya' that ya' get the one ya' want!!!!! :)

You still have a long wait for next winter, so no worries. As for me, I loved your pictures of snow and people having fun. Snow is so pretty. Shovelling snow is good cardio exercise; it's kind of like having a free outdoor gym, you know? And, dogs love frolicking around in the snow, too. So to recap: snow is very pretty, provides enjoyment for both man and beast, lends itself nicely to exercise, and the temperatures are cold and refreshing.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised you were able to get even halfway through that post before she gotcha'.
Her internet and phone service must be down....?! o_O

;) :)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I actually found that same Wiki (as opposed to Wookiee ;)) about Fab's :D alternate fate when I was tryin' to verify earlier today. Bummer, and too bad Tommy didn't live long enough to find some kegs to stay afloat on. :( ;)

And yes, again, Mr. Andrews was one good dude. I'll take it. :)

BTW...
I may know more about this particular flick than I let on, but, that's only 'cause DWifey and the girls are pretty big fans. :cautious:

I kinda' do like the historical aspect, though.

:D ;) :)
There's no shame in liking Titanic.

It was a brilliantly directed, Oscar-winning Blockbuster.

It has a little artistic nudity, a whole lotta Leo, a brief appearance or two by Victor Newman, and a fairly accurate re-telling of a tragic real-life event.

Again, no shame. It's not like it's Sharknado.

Finished Season 4! And here's my thoughts for @JenniferS.

Didn't think either of the final two deserved to win. I think Kathy should have won. My favorite contestant was Boston Rob, but he got voted out early, so I switched to Kathy. At first I really didn't like Kathy, but her attitude seemed to take a 180 degree flip. IMO it was the best casting out of the first four seasons.

It's called old age. ;)
What was the question?? I forgot!

Snow sucks...
I'm not Canadian, I don't have to like everything. In fact, I have chosen to not like anything. It's known as a perk of old age.

Kathy, Lex, and Boston Rob all return in later seasons.

To the best of my decade-plus recollection, a lot of people complained that we never saw Vecepia using her comfort item, which turned out to be a notebook and pen. She was able to keep notes all season, which helped her tremendously in one of the final question and answer challenges.
This might, in fact, have been the last season where contestants were allowed to bring a comfort item.

Did you find that nudity more gratuitous than artistic?

Titanic is also Son #1's favourite movie. He and I have watched it together multiple times since he was a pre-schooler. Neither of us have ever felt "squirmy" during that scene.

Totally off-topic, but we also share the same second favourite movie - The Terminal, with Tom Hanks.

I prefer the steam in the car scene.

Lex was season 3. Didn't care for him much, but really didn't have a strong opinion either way.

Vecepia was shown using her notebook and pen in the second-to-last episode, before they went to the Q&A challenge. Don't recall her ever being shown with it before.

I also wish they would have had a greater variation in challenges in the early days. I know they reuse some now, but they seem to be so much more creative and engaging in newer seasons compared to the old ones.

So far my top 2 favorite players are 1. Spencer, 2. Boston Rob. Third would probably be a tie between Brenda and Kathy.

My rankings of the winners (in terms of who deserves it) are...

1. Tony (sorry to burst your bubble, but he played one heck of a game)
2. Richard Hatch
3. Cochran
4. Tyson
5. Tina
6. Ethan
7. Vecepia

This list is obviously just from the seasons I've seen. I think the only other people who I know win a season (not sure which) are Pavarti Shallow and Boston Rob. If I'm wrong on either of these please don't tell me, and if I'm right don't tell me which seasons they win. Thanks!

Elsa/Anna - I pick Elsa.
Jennifer/Angelina - I pick Angelina
Mary Ann/Ginger - I pick Ginger.

Apparently, I admire the mysterious, crazy, sexy women.
In real life however, I am a Mary Ann, Anna, Jennifer hybrid.

OK. Never mind.
No matter how many different ways I've thought to reply to this post, there is NO WAY I'm not gonna' end up in some kinda' trouble somewhere...

@PUSH - when are we starting Season 5?
Probably tomorrow. I'm Survivored out for tonight. I think I watched three episodes (including the longer finale) and the reunion show since I got off work this afternoon. I'm off until Saturday now, so I should have a good chunk of the season taken down by then.
