So, I was just thinking ahead: we'll already have the First Pets covered. @StarWarsGirl95 will bring the First Cat; and then we have multiple First Dogs: Daisy, Walt, and Jack (from @Soarin' Over Pgh , @Gabe1 , and moi). We'll also have the First Horses: 7 of them, from @Wrangler-Rick . Note: It will take him a while to get all 7 there, because he has to ride each one quite a distance from his ranch, but he likes riding (see his Avatar—this is not to be misconstrued as a selfie by the way, I just meant that he likes horseback riding).

Now all we need is a First Bird. Any one of you have a bird?

We don't have a bird but we have a Lady Robin that returns each Spring and seems to believe we are her caretaker she might be up for the journey. And as for the horses I'm thinking it will only take one trip for @Wrangler-Rick. His horses like to wander out in a team when the gate is unlocked so likely if he takes the lead horse the balance of his team would follow.

What does your Jack look like?

He's solid black with big brown eyes. He's a medium-sized dog (around 55 pounds), and he's a mix of Chow and Lab. We adopted him from an animal shelter about 5 years ago. At some point in the near future, I'll show you a picture (I just need some guidance as to how to attach it to a post, but DH will be able to tell me how to do that.) Actually they're both at the vet now, for his yearly check-up. (He hates the vet's office; he gets very grumpy and even spits out a dog biscuit if they try to give him one!)

There's a commercial that's been playing a lot during Harry Potter this morning that ends with "Where would you rather be?" Each time my daughter says "Taking a NAP!"

Took advice from my yoga teaching friend and I'm doing a body toxin detox today.

Needless to say, I'm not leaving the house.

However, I'm getting plenty of housework done. The kitchen table is cleared off (for now) and my bedroom closet is organized and everything is in it's place.

I even made a cover for my sewing machine! (Bonus, it fits!)

Despite the uh, side effects of the detox process, I feel great. Hot, sweating, ...empty...but great.

Having lunch now, two chicken (she stressed protein and lots of chicken..ugh) that were marinated for two days in orange juice (fresh orange juice, not that crap from the store) and ginger with sesame seeds on abed of arugula and carrots. Yum.

DayDay jumped on my bed when I was cutting fabric for the sewing machine cover...so I did what anyone would do and wrapped her in it and took a picture.

Edited with Repix app (my fave photo editor for iPad) because it turned out kinda dark and my shoes were everywhere in the background, lol

Your dog looks like my Bestie's dog, Mini. Sweetest little dog (and one of the few dogs I've actually liked). They had to put her down this week though.
