We grilled out, but ate inside.
77 and sunny here. I think I'm going to try and nap now, but my dad's mowing outside and the windows are open, so who knows how that's going to go.

I'm so bored I just added last names to all my contacts. Some of them had them and some did not and I wanted it to be consistent.
Now I'm going to build Legos with my son. Hubby went to pick up some lobsters (they are on sale for $4.99/pound so for under $20 we feast on lobster!) A half an hour of Lego building and I will need to take a break to brave the rain to pick some peapods for dinner. Then my son gets to pick dessert - his sister is sleeping at their cousins' house so as a consolation he gets whatever he wants - I am going to start sending subliminal signals for ice cream.

Went out for lunch today, and wolfed down a yummy, steak tips meal. 
I can never finish the amount of steak they give me, so I brought about 6 of them home in a take-out container, (not a doggy bag—that detail is important to the rest of this story). Came home, and put 2 tips in my dog's dish for a holiday treat. He quickly devoured them.
So I just now went downstairs to put out his evening dog food. He ignored it, sat there defiantly, and stared at me as if to say, "I know you're holding out—there's steak tips in that frig—c'mon, stop messing around and put them in my dish!" (Nope, not happening! The remainder are my steak tips!!
) It's amazing how quickly dogs act all "entitled" . . . (ha!)
