It's like Europe isn't even trying.

So I went to my podiatrist today as a follow up for my ankle but asked her to look at a spot that had gotten infected. Apparently what I've been doing, treating it with a bandaid and triple antiobiotic ointment, isn't going to cut it, so now I'm on antibiotics. :banghead: If something weird can happen, it's going to happen to me...

My GUESS, you know, since I am married to an electrician and not at all qualified in my own right to comment, is the air conditioner was getting enough current to function but not enough to fully support the compressor so it was struggling. Hence the roar. I'm going to ask hubby later if I remember. Just to see if I'm right or if he laughs at me.

I think you're smart. That was a great answer. Surely, your hubby will agree with your analysis. (If he doesn't, tell him that MinnieM123 said he's wrong. The end.) Moving right along now . . .

I had shoulder pains when I first went on SGE because those restraints are ridiculous.
What a wimp! Let me tell you about when I was back in the War. You know, the war of the slow bullets in the 60's, why we were so stoic that we could drink a case of beer and leave the bar without even getting our fingers stepped on. If we did we didn't complain. We were tough back then.:arghh:

It feels like a Fall day here today. Very cool in the 60s.
It hit 98 degrees here today. There was so much humidity that you could go outside with an empty bucket and in just two swipes in the air it would be half full of water. We are tough here though.:D

I just looked up a synonym for tough, and the word was Herculean. Are you a descendant of Hercules?
