While I enjoy a real Chicago style hot dog, left to my own devices I usually put on Miracle Whip, Ketchup, Mustard, and Onions... Let the begin!!!

I could let the ketchup slide, maybe, blame it on improper upbringing, but Miracle Whip? That is a first.

Isn't that called Pommes Frites.

Pommes frites are just what the French call French fries. I think the mayo is like how our ketchup is, a common condiment to dip them in.

I'm not a fan.

Even if I liked it I couldn't. Fries are greasy enough without dipping them in a boatload of fat. I love malt vinegar or Cajun fries.

I love mayonnaise but it has it places. On bread with a sandwich or a must on the Irish Potato Salad I make.
I have had people use my family recipe and butcher it with Miracle Whip.

Since it is now officially July, we can start putting up the Christmas decorations and start playing Christmas music everywhere.

That reminds me... Heinz 57 steak sauce makes a GREAT French Fry dipping sauce.

It is actually more spicy than face-numbing hot.
It's probably just called that 'cause someone thought "hot gut" sounded better than "spicy gut".

Yep, we ended our nights with books too. A nice way to chill, teach and bond.

I had teachers that read one chapter of a good book a day when we would return from lunch break, a good way for the classroom to settle back in and also teach the love of reading. They were always books that were meant for enjoyment reading, never what would be considered educational.
