It's so weird outside right now. The sky was just yellow, and the clouds looked amazing in it. It was so calm, no wind, no rain, you could hear thunder in the distance. Then the sky turned purple. It was really weird and oddly peaceful. I tried to take pictures, but the colors didn't turn out on my phone. Maybe if I upload them to my laptop they'll look different. I'll try that later.

My auntie (almost like my second mom growing up) is home from Africa.
I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders.

We had a wonderful hour long conversation on the phone, and made plans for her to come over tomorrow for dinner, and then we're going to the show. (Maleficent, again.)

Pretty sure she's going to be giving my boys a good talking-to in the near future.

I had him put Polysporin Complete on it. 5% lidocaine is pretty effective. For a limited time, anyway.
