Right! I'll bet you are one of those people that wants to put Christ back in Christmas and don't understand the connection with the Easter Bunny. Holidays are celebrated because we got a day off from work, simple!
To be serious for just a second. We shouldn't need a designated day to remember people that went before us and shaped our lives. We owe so much to these people that it should be a daily occurrence. OK, back to our regularly scheduled silliness.
Actually it was 94 -year-old Mom who kind of shamed me into it. Last night in all her hysteria and confusion, she was quite upset with herself because she had not decorated the cemeteries yet like she "always" has. (She actually hasn't now for about 25 years, but she was time-warping last night). Anyway, it made me feel pretty guilty.

Yeah, but that's two wishes. Not bad for 3 hours work!Only a few shooting stars last night (3 in two hours of watching), but did get to have a lot of fun experimenting with the camera at 2am outside!

So my redneck neighbor is having a party, apparently. I don't know what tipped me off first...his young daughter screaming at the top of her lungs (to be honest though she's 7, she's way behind schedule on how a 7 yr old should act, I suspect bad parenting. She only here on the weekends and she's so loud. I never get a peaceful weekend) or the mass of cars and motorcycles clogging up my entire street, or the sound of men talking and laughing or maybe it was the really awful music blasting...it sounds like a bad metal garage band...ugh.
I'm going to Target and the Disney store, I've had about enough of this.
Oh, and it's been going on since 9 am...I'm only now griping about it.

The spring market is over. Just let G. know that we might as well go to 3 days each/wk, and not bother doubling up on the weekends anymore.
On the down side - no more carpooling with Hubby.
On the plus side - I will only be working 3 days a week, and I'll be myself those three days.

Sadly, it's Gods way of getting back at us for our past behaviors. It's called gradual aging. Sometime when we are not looking, it shows up.
