So is being in a coma!Everyone wants to get out of here, too, after high school. There's too much drama, it's too boring, there's nothing to do, blah blah blah. Their biggest problem, though, are they cause the drama, they're the ones who are boring, and they're the ones who have a bad attitude about everything. Then when they actually leave the area for college or whatever, they realize it's not such a bad place after all. My friend who moved to Wyoming in September couldn't stand it here and hated everything about this place. Now he constantly says how much he misses it, and he's planning a visit back in June. It might be small and boring, but it's a simple, relaxing life.
If people escape to Wyoming for a more exciting life, your town might be a little too simple for my tastes...Everyone wants to get out of here, too, after high school. He was born in Wyoming and lived there until he was... sometime in elementary school. His dad lives in Cheyenne. I think he knew about the winter we were going to get and took the opportunity to get out of here.If people escape to Wyoming for a more exciting life, your town might be a little too simple for my tastes...![]()
Just got back from driving Son #2's girlfriend home, and picking up Son #1, and the dog positively scampered to the car.
Maybe she's just sick of being stuck in the house with Beavis and Butthead too!
Ikea couch?
They say the best revenge is living well.
No, the best revenge is driving in the car with your mortified sons, singing along full blast with Meatloaf; maybe deliberately off key occasionally.
I am woman. Hear me roar!
If you're up between 2am and 4am EST tonight, look up and see if you can spot some meteors. Best viewing spots are supposed to be in North America, specifically California and east of the Mississippi River (that's me!!).
My kid too. Except he has no excuse.Mom's having an ornery night tonight.![]()

With the light pollution we have here it would have to be one of those mass-extinction meteors for us to see it.If you're up between 2am and 4am EST tonight, look up and see if you can spot some meteors. It would have to be like that one in Russia last year. With the light pollution we have here it would have to be one of those mass-extinction meteors for us to see it.
