Reminds me, there is a small town a few hours from where I live, in the mountain in Jalisco.
They serve fresh chicharrones of both pork, beef and even turkey.
Delicious! so bad that tradition is slowly disappearing
Most chicharrones are "processed" now

at least 22 hours id say, its 12-16 hours from Monterrey Nuevo Leon to my town.
And dunno how many from Monterrey to Houston.

Y'all know how much I adored my dad, and I thank the Lord daily for having blessed me with parents who loved me so thoroughly and completely.

I put out a pan of water for the neighborhood bunny when there is a drought happening as she can't reach the wading pool. During droughts all sorts of wildlife seem to find Walter's pool.

I so missed a nap this afternoon. Woke up at 3:30am. Brain suddenly awake and alive with thought. It is 10pm now. Shocked that I am still awake. And on my 6th adult beverage. Been touring the UK (Bass, Guinness, Woodpecker, 2 Newcastles)

My husband needed a scooter. He didn't ram anyone. Sometimes, when we wandered from ride to ride, I had to run back and bring the scooter to where we ended up. I did not ram anyone either. I did get a few planters though.

Some people are just entitled jerks. And then there are others that drive nicely. In fairness I saw way too many guests cut off strollers and scooters cutting right in front of them and then be angry cause they get clipped. Well duh people.

Yes, I miss it, sometimes. It was retail, but, it was Disney.
And, yes. It's 5 minutes from the house, so we get there fairly often.
Plus, I still do the occasional clothing store shift at that mall.
